Come join our Parish Music Ministry. St. Joseph's has a rich tradition of music which is greatly appreciated by our parishioners. We are also on the lookout for new members who want to offer their talents in this important ministry. Our Choir sings at the 9:30am Sunday Mass and Cantors are needed at the other Masses. On behalf of the music ministry of our parish, I would like to express appreciation for the exceptional commitment of our singers, instrumentalists and cantors at Christmas Eve and Christmas Day liturgies. Our Schola provided preludes and sang the 5:00 p.m. Mass. The Choir gathered in the church at 11:00 p.m. to rehearse with the Singing Strings of St. Joseph's School. Ten committed students played and sang with our Choir until 1:15 in the morning! On Christmas morning, some of our wonderful cantors returned to church to sing at the 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 Christmas liturgies. If you play strings, brass, guitar, keyboard or percussion (we really need a percussionist for Schola 10:00 a.m.!)
